Many cultures have been using hair oiling for centuries to help with scalp circulation, hair thickness, hair growth, shiny hair, stronger hair, and over all scalp and hair health. Our Soothe oil is our best selling growth oil. It is a blend of penetrating and sealing oils that can be used for all hair types to promote over all hair health. It is made with 17 different oils such as Amla, Castor, Black Cumin Seed, Black Current Seed, Rosemary, Moroccan Argan, Tamanu, Rosehip, and more that are left to soak in Chebé Powder. Black Seed Oils, Rosemary, and Amla have all been used to help with growth and thickness. Some of these ingredients have also been said to contain natural DHT blocking benefits. Goes great when paired with our hair creams and Biotin Luster Spray. A little goes a long way. Tamanu oil is dark so this oil can vary between shades of a darker greenish to a goldish color.

Whats the difference between Soothe & Essence?

Soothe has Rosemary & Tea Tree and is thicker in consistency.
Essence has Pumpkin Seed and is a little bit lighter in consistency. 
Both contain a lot of the other same oils that have been used to help with growth, thickness, shiny hair, and healthy scalp for centuries. Both contain a DHT blocking ingredient. 

Use:

Adding oiling to your routine can depend on your hair type. Everyone’s hair type is different so your oiling method can be different as well as. Doing the best method that works for your hair type will help with adding oiling to your hair growth routine. A little goes a long way, you do not need to drench your hair in the oil.
For the NycheHair method- On damp, wet hair apply a Leave In spray or cream onto the hair shaft, then apply oil and massage into the scalp and hair shaft. Be sure to massage it in for a few minutes. Reapply each time daily and leave in until your wash day remembering to massage the scalp each time and repeat after washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner. May need to shampoo 2x to thoroughly clean. (If you have greasier, thinner hair it may be better for your hair type to do an oil treatment method 1-3x a week or to a few times a month)

For oil treatment method: Oiling can depend on your hair type oiling your hair every day like some do may not work for you and an oil treatment may be a better option.  Brush your hair and massage your scalp. Be sure to massage it into the scalp for a few minutes. Use onto the ends of the hair and work up the shaft to the scalp. For those with Greasier hair we recommend using as an oil treatment 1-3x a week depending on what you prefer. Brush your hair before, apply oil on the ends of hair and to the scalp, massage into the scalp for at least 5-8 minutes (can loosely braid hair if you like to keep it maintained easier) leave in a few hours, and then wash out with shampoo (may need to shampoo 2x) and conditioner. Follow up with a leave in conditioner spray or cream. Style as usual. Redo the cycle whenever needed. 
For Dry, kinky, course hair we recommend leaving it in a bit longer, about 1-3 days, reapplying each day and massaging your scalp, and wash out with shampoo and conditioner. (may need to shampoo 2x). Follow up with a leave in conditioner spray or cream and reapply oil onto the scalp and hair and massage in the scalp to seal in the leave in and moisture. Redo the cycle whenever needed. Great to use when wearing protective styles as well. Be sure to massage into the scalp when applying.

Please be advised these are oils so it will feel like oil. We do our best to strain the oil well but there can be some chebe herbs still in the oil as it is small. It is not harmful to you if there is.
