Processing Times
Processing time will take between 1 to 14 business days. (This excludes holidays and weekends)
USPS transit times are NOT the same as processing times. Even if you selected 1 day shipping, your order will still need to undergo processing.
Lost, Stolen, Damaged Items
To file claims for shipping damages you MUST have shipping insurance on your order.

If you removed our third party Route shipping protection service from your order you will no longer be covered by NycheHair’s shipping protection and will not be able to file a claim with us for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Claims can still be filed for USPS and UPS, however they require you to wait 15-60 days to file a claim upon delivery.
WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE CUSTOMERS TO ADD ROUTE SHIPPING PROTECTION TO THEIR ORDERS TO FILE CLAIMS ON LOSS, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED ITEMS. Please continue reading below for additional information regarding Route.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too when receiving one from Route or the shipping carrier. *If Route shipping insurance was not added to your order summary you will not be able to be refunded through us or route for loss or damages or theft caused by shipping and you will have to file a claim through the shipping carriers website. International
If you are international you must file a claim directly with your local carrier. If you added route shipping protection you can file a claim through them as well. NYCHE HAIR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED UPON SHIPPING, LOST, or STOLEN ITEMS. If you remove Route from your order you will no longer be covered by NycheHair’s shipping insurance and you will need to contact your local carrier regarding claims for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Nyche Hair does not cover the costs of custom fees. You must pay any customs fees or your order will be returned back to us and we will issue a refund (excluding the shipping costs and fees) as store credit or to your original payment method. Once a package has left our facility, we are unable to do anything with package once it has shipped.
Please reach out to your countries customs department or your local shipping carriers for concerns regarding shipping issues or delays or holds on packages.
We ship worldwide excluding countries on the USPS Suspension list and the Netherlands at this time. CLICK HERE . Please note we DO NOT cover any customs fees. You must pay any fees once your package lands in your country. If you do not, the item will be returned to us and a refund of store credit or to the original payment method (EXCLUDING SHIPPING COSTS and FEES) once the package has been delivered back to us, will be refunded to you once the items are inspected to ensure there is no damage or loss of the item. Please also reach out to your countries customs department or local shipping carriers for issues regarding a delay, lost, returned, or stolen items.
Any packages returned to us will be refunded (excluding the shipping costs and fees) after the package has been safely returned back to us and inspected for no damages. If there is any damages you will be partially refunded and/or refunded for the items that are not damaged (excluding shipping costs and fees).
Sometimes items will be returned due to a wrong address input at checkout, no apartment number was labeled, the customer did not claim their package at the post office, the post office attempted delivery and the customer did not accept it, etc. For any reason including these listed, a refund will be issued only for the undamaged item(s) (Excluding the shipping costs and fees).
Refunds on shipping
Refunds are processed for shipping issues by NycheHair through Route ONLY if route shipping insurance is attached to your cart. (Refunds for shipping issues are processed by Route or the shipping carriers themselves not by Nyche Hair).
- What is ROUTE? It is an insurance agency that works to help protect your package after departure. This option is conveniently attached to your check out. If removed you are held liable for damage, loss and theft. You will not be able to be refunded by us or Route or to locate your package if shipping protection is not added.
**We highly encourage all customers to add Route shipping protection to their orders to be able to file a claim for lost, damage, or stolen packages.
An Item is LOST when it has not been updated by usps for more than a week after they scanned it in their system.
- I received the wrong item:
If you received the wrong item send us images immediately to daynycreations@gmail.com so we can inspect the issue and do our best to help resolve it. If you were sent the wrong product we will issue you a refund for that item only or offer to ship you the correct item.
- I put in the wrong shipping address. Nyche Hair is NOT responsible for any mistakes made by the customer during check out. If you put in the wrong shipping address you must contact us immediately before your order is shipped to assist in updating your shipping address. If you do not contact us before your it is shipped, you will be able to update your address yourself through our shipping carriers website by the tracking number provided to you to ensure your order gets to you. If you do not, the package could end up being returned to us. You will Not be eligible for a refund through NycheHair if you input the wrong address. If you have Shipping Insurance added you can file a claim through ROUTE Protection to assist you with your package.
- Why do I need to sign for my package? We require signature for packages delivered that are $80 or more. We have encountered people scamming us by saying they did not receive their orders even though it shows it has been delivered. To ensure you do receive the package for larger orders we ask for a signature upon delivery. This ensures us that the package was delivered and helps to make sure you do receive it as well.
- Cancellations
Cancellations can be made ONLY WITHIN 24 hours of placing your order unless your order has finished processing within those 24 hours. Once your order has completed processing or has passed 24 hours we do not cancel it. We do our best to process orders very quickly and therefore cannot guarantee any cancellations after 24 hours of the order being placed.
If our system marks your order as “high fraud” we will immediately cancel it. If your order is marked as “low fraud” to “medium fraud” we will attempt to reach out to you via email (if one is provided) to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved or we can not contact you we will then cancel the order.
