Return / Refund Policy

Please read carefully. This policy applies to all Nyche Hair orders.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of being placed unless the order has finished processing within those 24 hours, whichever comes first.

Once an order has finished processing, it cannot be canceled, edited, or refunded.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are accepted at the customer’s expense, unless an item is deemed defective under our Defective Items policy.

If an item is returned opened, used, or damaged, a 15% restocking fee will apply because items that have been opened or used cannot be resold for hygiene and safety reasons.

Change of Mind / No Longer Want Product

If a customer wants to return an item because they changed their mind and the cancellation window has passed:

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Refunds are issued minus all shipping costs and fees
  • Refunds are processed only after the item is returned and inspected
  • If the product is used or damaged, a 15% restocking fee will apply
Defective Items

Defective items may be eligible for a return label and store credit only if reported within 7 days of delivery.

A defective item is defined as a manufacturing issue and does not include damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or customer error.

Shipping damage is not considered a defect. Items damaged during shipping are handled under Route Shipping Protection.
  • Photo proof of the defect is required
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Original packaging is required
  • Items must show minimal signs of use
  • Final sale or customer-damaged items are not eligible

Once photo proof is reviewed and the defect is confirmed, a return label will be provided. After the item is received and inspected, store credit will be issued within 3–5 business days.

Store credit is issued to the customer’s account and the email address provided at checkout on the original order.

Shipping costs and fees are non-refundable.

Refunds & Shipping Costs

All refunds, regardless of reason, are issued minus shipping costs and fees.

Shipping fees, Route protection fees, and processing fees are non-refundable.

Route Shipping Protection

Route is an optional shipping protection service that helps cover packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

Nyche Hair is not responsible for shipping issues once an order leaves our facility. Customers who add Route may file a claim for eligible shipping-related issues.

  • Claims must be filed within 30 days
  • If Route is removed, shipping-related refunds are store credit only (minus shipping costs and fees)
  • No refunds for incorrect addresses entered at checkout

Carrier Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us by the carrier, a refund (if approved) will be issued minus all shipping costs and fees.

Signature Required for Orders $80+

Orders totaling $80 or more may require a signature upon delivery.

International Orders & Customs

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

Chargebacks & Policy Abuse

Customers who initiate multiple chargebacks or abuse our policies may be permanently banned from placing future orders.

Fraud Prevention

Orders flagged as medium to high fraud risk are immediately canceled.
