Shipping Policy

Use the dropdowns below for quick answers. This policy aligns with our Return & Refund Policy where applicable.

Processing Times

Processing time is typically 1–8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). During peak seasons such as Christmas and Black Friday, processing times may be extended. Preordered items may take 1–2.5 weeks to ship.

Transit time is not the same as processing time. Selecting expedited shipping does not skip processing.
Route Shipping Protection

Route is an optional shipping protection service that covers packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

Nyche Hair is not responsible for shipping issues once an order leaves our facility. Route exists to protect customers from carrier-related issues outside of our control.

  • Claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery
  • If Route is removed, shipping-related refunds are store credit only
  • No refunds for incorrect addresses entered at checkout

International Shipping & Customs

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees. If customs fees are not paid, the package may be returned.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of being placed unless the order has already finished processing, whichever comes first.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are accepted at the customer’s expense unless an item is deemed defective.

Items returned opened, used, or damaged are subject to a 15% restocking fee, as these products cannot be resold.

Items must not be returned until approved by Nyche Hair.

Change of Mind Returns

If a customer chooses to return an item because they no longer want it and the cancellation window has passed, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refunds are issued only after the item has been returned and inspected. If the item is returned opened, used, or damaged, a 15% restocking fee will apply.

Refunds & Fees

All refunds are issued minus shipping costs, Route fees, and processing fees.

Defective Items

Defective items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Defective items are eligible for store credit only.

A defective item is defined as a manufacturing issue and does not include damage caused by misuse, improper handling, incorrect storage, or customer error.

Shipping damage is not considered a defect and must be handled through Route Shipping Protection.

Proof of defect is required, including clear photos and proof of purchase. Items must show minimal signs of use and include original packaging.

Do not return any items until approval has been granted by Nyche Hair. Once the defect is reviewed and approved, a return label will be provided.

After the item is received and inspected, store credit will be issued within 3–5 business days to the customer’s account and the email used at checkout.

Carrier Returned Packages

If a package is returned by the carrier, any approved refund will be issued minus all shipping costs and fees.

A 15% restocking fee may apply if items are returned damaged or opened. No refunds are issued for incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

Chargebacks & Policy Abuse

Customers who initiate multiple chargebacks or abuse our policies may be permanently banned.

Fraud Prevention

Orders flagged as medium to high fraud risk are automatically canceled.
